Background
Hobart Electronics was founded in 1969 on the south side of Chicago.
Later moved to northwest Indiana where we now manufacture transformers
in our 30,000 sq. ft. facility.

Facilities
Hobart Electronics currently has 2 facilities: One in Hobart,
Indiana. Located approximately 45 minutes from Chicago, Illinois. Our
second facility is located in Cerralvo, Mexico. Cerralvo is 50
minutes northeast of Monterey, Mexico and 1 hour south of the border
entering through Laredo, Texas.

Quality
Over the past 5 years our first article quality record has
consistently been in excess of 99.95%. In the transformer industry
this is an unprecedented statement of our commitment to providing
quality product.

Just-In-Time
We have completely revamped our facility to work effectively with
JIT, Kanban, Flow programs, etc. You let us know what your needs are,
and we'll design a program to fit.

Cellular Manufacturing
Our floor is running "one piece flow." Orders started today can ship
tomorrow. This type of flexible manufacturing is unique to our
industry. We can offer customers turn around times and flexibility in
scheduling like no one else. Give our cellular manufacturing
capabilities a try.

10KVA Quantity: Orders from 25 pieces through 1,000,000 pieces
Customs: 80% of Hobart's business in manufacturing transformers to

When we supply you a sample, CAD generated drawings are also
supplied. Making it easier for you to create your own internal

Computer Controlled Facility
Hobart Electronics has a fully networked computer system controlling
Production Scheduling Material Requirements (MRP) Tracking Quality
Purchasing Engineering Design CAD Expedites Calibration You name it
and our computer system is tracking its progress.

Real-Time Expedites
When you call to get status of an order we can give you "real-time"
order status right over the telephone. Without having to wait for a
call back.

Stability
